Glassflake Limited is responsible for the development of a patented process for manufacturing high specification glass flakes.  This process facilitates the production of high quality product with a very low deviation on flake thickness. In comparison with other glass flake products on the market having a large deviation in thickness not suitable for certain applications, this consistency results in further significant improvements in applications.

Glassflake’s patented process has been further developed to allow the manufacture of ultra thin flakes, opening up new possibilities in material improvements imparted by the incorporation of glass flakes.
