Innovations in flake glass technology have enabled the production of thin glass flakes. Our GF100 (true 1 micron thickness) series product is available in both ECR and LAG type glass compositions. In contrast to glass flake above two microns in thickness the GF100 series results in superior pigments with more brilliance and lustre.

These products have applications as a pigment substrate, which can then be coated, resulting in a unique multicoloured finish with enhanced lustre and brilliant glitter effects far in excess of the finish achievable with mica-based pigments.

Effect pigments based on glass flakes may be used in an array of applications, including cosmetics, plastics, automotive and architectural refinishes.
