Flake Dimensions

Our extensive range of thickness specifications in addition to the thickness variance for each product group illustrate the inherent controllability in our method of glassflake manufacture. The particle diameter of the flake is achieved by subsequent manufacturing. We offer 3  planar diameters – unmilled, milled and micronised. As glassflakes are irregular shaped highly planar particles the particle size distribution is broad. The distribution of planar sizes, in these 3 named diameters, can be seen in the following pie charts.
